About Café Mama
Work and motherhood were never meant to compete for the same three hours.
Café Mama is a coworking space for moms with onsite child watch, created for the season when you still have work to do—and a little person who still needs you close.
Because sometimes you don't need a full day of childcare.
You just need a few focused hours.
A Space Made for Moms. Finally.
Café Mama started with a problem that felt way too familiar:
Where are moms supposed to go when we need to actually get work done—with our little ones still close?
The coffee shop sounds great until you're answering emails between snack requests.
Working from home works... until it doesn't.
And traditional childcare isn't always what you need when you're just looking for a few uninterrupted hours to take a meeting, finish a project, run your business, or finally cross something off your list.
There had to be something in between.
So we're building it.
Café Mama is a coworking space designed specifically for moms, with onsite child watch built right in.
You bring the laptop. You bring the little one.
They play, explore, move, create, and are supervised nearby while you get the time and space to focus.
You're still close. You're just not doing both jobs at the exact same time.
What Makes Café Mama Different
This isn't a coffee shop with a play corner.
And it isn't traditional drop-off childcare.
It's a space intentionally designed around the way motherhood and work actually coexist.
For You, Mama
Comfortable, work-friendly spaces
Room to spread out and focus
Wi-Fi + coffee, obviously
A community of other working moms
A few glorious hours to get. stuff. done.

Room for work and motherhood to coexist
Why Café Mama Exists
We don't think the only choices should be:
Work from home while simultaneously parenting.
or
Find full-time childcare.
There are a whole lot of moms living somewhere in between.
Remote-working moms.
Freelancers.
Entrepreneurs.
Small business owners.
Moms with childcare who still need another option sometimes.
Moms building something during the years when their children are still little.
Café Mama exists for that in-between.
For the meeting you need quiet for.
The proposal you need to finish.
The business you're trying to grow.
The inbox you desperately need to get through.
Or the three hours where you'd simply like to hear yourself think.
You don't have to stop being Mama to make room for the rest of who you are.
Born in McKinney. Built With Moms.
Café Mama is being built right here in McKinney, Texas.
But before there were plans for a permanent home, there were pop-ups.
We started bringing moms and littles together around McKinney to test this idea in real life—to see what worked, what didn't, what moms actually needed, and what this space could become.
And we listened.
Every session, conversation, DM, survey response, toddler meltdown, laptop opened, and cup of coffee has helped shape what Café Mama is becoming.
Now we're taking everything we've learned and working toward the next chapter:
A permanent Café Mama home in McKinney.
Not just another place to take your kids.
Not just another place to open your laptop.
A place intentionally designed for both of you.
We're Building This Together
Café Mama isn't being built in a boardroom somewhere.
It's being built alongside the moms who need it.
Our Founding Families will be the first families invited into our permanent home and an important part of helping us shape what Café Mama becomes.
For now, join our list to follow the journey, hear about upcoming pop-ups, and be the first to know when Founding Families officially open.
Our Mission
To create space for work and motherhood to coexist.
Café Mama gives moms focused time to work while their little ones are cared for, engaged, and close by—because supporting a mother's work shouldn't require separating her from motherhood.
Coworking for moms. Onsite child watch for littles. A space designed for both.
